Week 2, photos taken July 25. Despite getting enough water during a hot week, our sentinel regressed. The stem thinned and bent right behind the flower head, as you see in the first photo, and its lovely yellow petals wilted, making it look droopy and a bit sad. Buck up there, fella; the weather will get better. We hope you will, too.
